Sam and Terry are both angry, and Emma and Lisa think the boys are silly. “Don’t be silly, you two,” says Emma. “The parts are not for Year 7 pupils.” Sam and Terry look at the girls. “You’ve got no idea!” they both shout. C In the afternoon Sam and Terry talk to Mrs Carter in her classroom. Mrs Carter is really happy. “Thank you, Sam and Terry. You’re a great help. You can go now.” Sammust go to the computer club and Terry wants to go home. D Terry is walking home from school and sees Lisa. “Hey, Lisa!” Terry calls and runs after her. “I’m really excited about the play, and our scenery is so good … ,” says Lisa. “Scenery! That’s for children,” says Terry. “I’m an actor now. A real actor with a real part in a real play.” “What?” She cannot believe her ears. “Sorry, I must go. You can’t have a part. You’re only in Year 7 now,” Lisa tells him. “Oh, look. There’s Mrs Carter.” “Mrs Carter …Mrs Carter!” shouts Terry. “Oh, hello. I’m thinking about the play. An actor is ill and … well, maybe you can all help,” Mrs Carter says. “Can you come to my classroom after school? Then I can tell you about the part. I must go to the library now.
