94 n i nety - four A The four friends are in the Cotswold Farm Park. They know a lot about the farm fromMrs Smith, and now they want to see everything. Terry and Sam want to drive the tractors and Lisa wants to feed the kids. But Emma is not very happy. She does not like the farm because she does not like animals. Suddenly Emma hears something. Oink! Oh, no! There is a little pig standing next to her. Emma shouts, “Help!” Terry laughs, “Oh, Emma, it’s only a little pig.” Mrs Smith says, “Her name is Polly. She’s very funny – she thinks she’s a dog, and so she always wants to play with children!" B The friends go to see the kids next. Lisa has got a little bottle of milk and wants to feed a kid. Suddenly Polly is there. She wants some milk from Emma. The friends laugh – Polly likes Emma, but Emma doesn’t like pigs! Then the friends go to the tractor school. They all want to drive a tractor. Emma drives a tractor, too, and she is really fast. Now suddenly the friends are all laughing. The little pig Polly is running behind Emma’s tractor. She really likes Emma a lot. Emma laughs, too, and now she thinks Polly is cute. C After the tractor school, they want to see the cows. Suddenly there is a big black dog behind Emma, and she is scared. But Polly is there again. She runs around the dog; he is scared and runs away. “Thanks, Polly,” she says and pats little Polly on the head. Terry and Sam want to play with the little pig, but Polly only wants to play with Emma. “Silly pig!” the boys shout. “You’re scaring her!” says Emma. “Go away, you two!” “OK, OK, we’re going,” they say. “Have fun with your pet pig!” shouts Terry.
