His master was Hector, theWizard of London. Every big city in the world has its own wizard. One day Hector took Ronnie to the top of the London Eye. They saw the River Thames, Big Ben and all of London from the Eye. Hector looked around and then looked at Ronnie very carefully. “I’m 214 years old now, Ronnie, and I’m getting too old to work. You’re my best apprentice, so I want you to be the new Wizard of London.” “Wow! Me? Great!” said Ronnie. “Yes, but don’t forget.” Hector looked at him and smiled. “It’s a lot of work, too. You must look after the city. Londoners and their computers can’t do it all alone!” B Ronnie had a lot of work on that day. Hector asked him to check all of the famous sights in London. He decided to start with Big Ben. Ronnie flew from the London Eye and down the river to the top of Big Ben. It was ten o’clock when Ronnie arrived. “Bong, Bong, Bong.” That’s boring, thought Ronnie. He wanted to do some magic and have some fun. “Shazaam!” shouted Ronnie. Suddenly, the big clock started to play the loudest, most popular song in London! Londoners stopped in the streets and looked at Big Ben. A group of tourists started to dance. That’s better, thought Ronnie, and smiled. C When Ronnie left Big Ben, it started to rain. People opened their umbrellas or ran inside. “Shazaam!” shouted Ronnie and suddenly it was sunny! Where can I go now? thought Ronnie. Of course, Hyde Park! Hyde Park looked great in the sun. Ronnie saw kids on skateboards, Londoners with their dogs, and people with picnics on the grass. This is nice, thought Ronnie, but I have a better idea … . “Shazaam!” Suddenly, there were oranges and bananas in the trees. The grey pigeons turned into beautiful green, red, blue and yellow birds and the skateboards had wings!
