Red Line 2, Coursebook

C The friends look everywhere – in the toilets, in the room where they changed their clothes, in the cafeteria. But they can’t find Emma’s bag. They go back into the hall. They want to see Steve Jones to explain what has happened. When they go into the hall the auditions have finished. Then they hear a voice on the microphone. It’s Steve Jones. Steve: Can you all listen, please? Someone found this bag on the floor. And they gave it to me. There’s a mobile phone in it but the owner hasn’t switched it off. It rings every few minutes and it’s driving us crazy. Terry: Well now we know where your bag is, Emma. Steve: Oh, it’s your bag, Emma. Here’s your phone. Emma: Oh, sorry. It’s probably my mum. Steve: You can call her back and tell her that you and Terry got the parts. 45 50 55 2 In the story What can you say about the people in the story? What do you think?
