He wants to improve his English. At the airport in New York he gets into a van. He thinks it is a shuttle bus to the place where his aunt lives. But the van goes to Manhattan. The three men in the front are not bus drivers – they are gangsters called Smitty, Pancho and Fats. They kidnap Frank, take his passport and lock him in a hotel room. Fats, who brings Frank food and drinks, feel a bit sorry for him. Later the three men take Frank by private plane to a lonely place. Frank grabs a pouch before he leaves the plane. He knows his passport is in it, but he doesn’t know that there are diamonds in the pouch, too. The gangsters fly off. Frank finds a road and ends up in a gas station. The gangsters can’t find the diamonds and realize that Frank must have them. They go back to look for him and almost find him at the gas station. He escapes in a cattle truck and meets Linda who has run away from home. When the truck slows down, they jump off and hide. Nur zu Prüfzwecken – Eigentum des Verlags öbv
