sixty-five 65 2 Compounds The word ‘screenplay’ is a compound. It’s a play, with dialogue and action, for the screen, or cinema. Put the parts together to make new words to fit the definitions. Check in your dictionary if you aren’t sure. wind • ball • mini • youth • clock • board • mail • field hostel • box • walk • bus • work • sock • radio • park 1. You can walk along it at the beach. That’s a boardwalk. 2. It shows pilots how windy it is. 8. an alarm clock that wakes you up with music 3 Spelling mistakes Make a checklist to help your spelling. Here are some ideas. 1.  You often don’t hear the letters ‘gh’.
