Listen to and read the husband’s and the wife’s part of the story, then do the tasks below. 25 Modern Romance One: The Wife The reason we got rid of the robot was she was an absolute slut. You must understand, my Mortimer is a strong man but how long can even a good man resist temptation? The way she used to look at him and rub against him every chance she got. Of course, a flesh and blood woman is preferable to a machine no matter how perfect and beautiful and understanding and responsive. Poor Annie was so upset by this whole mess.
