The first two examples have been done for you. 24 On 19th July 1985, a 17-year-old girl called Sumitra lay dead, while around her body 0 her grieving family were made preparations for the funeral. Imagine the surprise – imagine 00 the happiness when their daughter suddenly sat up and told them about she was back 1 from the dead. However, their happiness was short-lived when the daughter did not 2 respond to her name and insisted that everyone call her by Shiva. Furthermore, she 3 claimed she didn’t know anyone in the room. She told them that the most last thing she 4 remembered was been being hit on the head by a brick during a family dispute. The next 5 thing she knew was she had woken up in the body of Sumitra. A police investigation 6 showed that the body of a 22-year-old Shiva had been found in suspicious circumstances 7 on a nearby railway track two months earlier then. She had died from head injuries. Her 8 husband’s parents claimed she had committed suicide herself. The body had been 9 cremated. Sumitra was introduced to Shiva’s family and was able to identify to each family 10 member, the neighbours, pieces of a clothing and her personal items. She even wrote with 11 Shiva’s handwriting, a fact that all the more strange as Sumitra had been illiterate. 12 Shiva’s family took Sumitra back at into their home convinced she was their daughter 13 returned from the dead.
