At the end of series two he is turfed out of his job and becomes a travelling salesman. He returns to the paper merchants for the Christmas party, however. 7 ______________________ : We are in no doubt that “The Office” will be considered a classic British sitcom in a few years from now (in fact, like “Fawlty Towers”, only relatively few episodes were filmed and the action centres around a man with no redeeming features). The filming style of “The Office” is totally unique and the fact that it is presented as if it were almost real makes it even more embarrassing to watch. In France a French version called “Le Bureau” was made. A very successful German version, “Stromberg”, started in October 2004. A long-running American version was initiated on NBC in March 2005.
