Read the descriptions of the sleeping positions and write the names under the pictures on the previous page. Then tell your partner which of these positions you fall asleep in. The foetus: These sleepers are described as tough on the outside but soft at heart. They may be shy when they first meet somebody, but soon relax. The log: These sleepers are easygoing people who like being part of the incrowd, and who are trusting of strangers. However, they may be gullible. The yearner: People who sleep in this position have an open nature, but can be suspicious. They are slow to make up their minds, but once they have taken a decision, they can be very stubborn. The soldier: People who sleep in this position are generally reserved and like to keep themselves to themselves. They don’t like a fuss, but they are very demanding. The freefaller: These are often gregarious people, but they can be very sensitive underneath. They don’t like criticism or extreme situations. The starfish: These sleepers make good friends because they are always ready to listen to others and like helping others when needed. They generally don’t like to be the centre of attention.
