Underline all the cooking verbs you can find. 27 a VoCabULaRY 26 a Cooking verbs 28 b b serve cut grate crush chop deep-fry stir toss simmer shake pour season F A B C D E F G H I J K L Warm spiced nuts 200 g cashew (or mixed) nuts 40 ml olive oil a little salt 10 ml chopped fresh rosemary and thyme 5 ml chopped dried chillies Tomato and cheese bruschetta 2 medium tomatoes, chopped 100 g mozzarella cheese, chopped 2–3 basil leaves 40 ml extra virgin olive oil salt, pepper 4 slices of good white bread 1 clove of garlic, peeled Chop the tomatoes, mozzarella and basil and put them in a bowl. Add oil, salt and pepper. Stir, then leave for 20 minutes to an hour. Toast the bread until golden brown, then put on a plate. Cut the garlic clove in half and rub over each piece of toast. Put a quarter of the tomato mixture on each slice and serve. Put the nuts, oil and salt in a bowl. (1) Chop / Shake the herbs and dried chillies and add to the bowl. (2) Cut / Stir all the ingredients, then pour onto a baking tray. (3) Bake / Boil at 180°C for 15 to 20 minutes, shaking once. (4) Pour / Stir the nuts onto kitchen paper and then into a dish.
