27 Global issues 02 LANGUAGE SKILLS EXPLORE EXTRAS In groups, look at the strategies for interrupting, agreeing and disagreeing (in italics ). For each one: 1 make a list of possible things the person might say in the gaps. 2 in each case, which remark would achieve the speaker’s aim most successfully? Why? 3 try out each conversation, and see how your chosen remark sounds.
