While you are beating in the eggs and vanilla extract, add a few drops of food colouring to the mixture. Stir the flour into the butter mixture before you work it into a dough using floured hands. After having divided the dough into two portions, leave it to chill in the fridge for one hour. While preheating the oven to 170 °C, line two baking trays with baking paper. After having rolled the dough out on a lightly floured work surface, cut shapes out with the Halloween cutters. While you are placing the cookies onto the baking tray, leave a gap between them. Bake the cookies for 12–15 minutes. After that , leave them on the tray for 10 minutes. When the cookies have cooled off, let your imagination run wild and decorate them.
