Fluffy: I live with the Webber family. There are Mr and Mrs Webber and their sons. Two years ago they found me at an animal shelter. Interviewer: Really? Fluffy: Yes. A lot of people put their pets in an animal shelter because they don’t know how much work it is to have a pet. Interviewer: I see. And what about the Webbers? Do they take good care of you? Fluffy: Yes, they know a lot about dogs, and they have enough time for me. Interviewer: That sounds great. What do you do all day long? Fluffy: Well, my day starts with food. Alex always feeds me in the morning, and he often takes me for a walk. And then he brushes my coat. Interviewer: Wow. What do you do next? Fluffy: Alex and George usually have to go to school, but I always have to stay at home. That’s good because I can go back to sleep. I love sleeping. Interviewer: How many hours do you sleep a day? Fluffy: That’s difficult to say, but I often sleep two hours in the morning and sometimes two more hours in the afternoon. Interviewer: Okay. What about the rest of the day? Fluffy: Around midday Mr Webber and I usually go for a short walk. I often get some special dog biscuits, too. Yummy! Interviewer: Does the Webber family often play with you? Fluffy: Yes, of course. Around 4 p.m. George and Alex usually come back from school, and then we always play together for about an hour. Then the boys have to do their homework, but not me. I don’t do any homework. Never. Interviewer: The Webbers seem to be really nice and to have a happy life. Fluffy: Yes, they really are, and I am very, very happy to be with them. b) Read the interview with a partner and take turns. c) Match the adverbs of frequency with the correct numbers (%).
