Furthermore, many e-scooters are left lying around the pavements, forcing pedestrians to step into the road to pass them, further slowing other traffic. Some are even left across entries and driveways, hindering cars and delivery vans. Thus, the general traffic situation cannot be relieved by e-scooters. In conclusion, e-scooters are inconvenient for much of the year and do not allow users to transport their belongings easily. More crucially, they are a grave danger to the general public’s safety, and finally, they worsen traffic congestion rather than relieving it. Thus, e-scooters will not be a solution for the problems encountered with traffic in the future.
