Compare your ideas with a partner. Listen to a job interview, take some notes and discuss in small groups what went wrong. Read the interview questions below and think of possible answers to some of them. You can also add your own ideas or do some research on popular/fun/hard-to-answer questions online. Explain how the caption relates to the picture. Speculate on the intended audience and discuss the message (criticism of society/economy/politics, etc.) the cartoonist is trying to convey. Comment on the effectiveness of the cartoon. Is it convincing, or less so? Is it funny/shocking/in bad taste … – or in any way ambiguous?
