Carbon dioxide levels in the atmosphere have been very much greater in the past, and the Earth survived, so we can therefore be confident that we can survive now. In any case, the only studies that have shown some kind of temperature rise have been shown to be false. Furthermore, if the Earth is getting so much warmer, why is it always so cold and wet in the UK? If anything, we could do with a bit more global warming, not less.
