Last weekend I was walking through the city. At the main bus station I saw the sign of an e-scooter rental that hadn’t been there before. They had fancy-looking, colourful scooters with small baskets at the front, so I decided to have a closer look. Can you believe this? You can get these e-scooters free of charge if you take part in their social project. At first I didn’t understand what that meant but then a cute-looking young guy asked me if I wanted to know more. Guess what? Of course I did! ;-) He told me that they give you the scooters for free for 4 hours if you agree to deliver something small that someone needs, like some groceries for older people or medication. They have this online network where people register and tell them what they would need and when. You can choose what task to do, give them your details, and as soon as you deliver the goods, the person confirms it online. That’s all! Off you go and enjoy the e-scooter for free!
